Second-order component analysis for fault detection

چکیده
Process monitoring based on neural networks is getting more and attention. Compared with classical networks, high-order have natural advantages in dealing heteroscedastic data. However, might bring the risk of overfitting, which learning both key information from original data noises or anomalies. Orthogonal constraints can greatly reduce correlations between extracted features, thereby reducing overfitting risk. This paper proposes a novel fault detection method called second-order component analysis (SCA). SCA rules out heteroscedasticity process by optimizing autoencoder orthogonal constraints. In order to deal this constrained optimization problem, geometric conjugate gradient algorithm adopted paper, performs combination Stiefel manifold Euclidean manifold. Extensive experiments Tennessee-Eastman benchmark show that outperforms compared state-of-the-art methods missed rate (MDR) false alarm (FAR).

Neural Component Analysis for Fault Detection
Principal component analysis (PCA) is largely adopted for chemical process monitoring and numerous PCAbased systems have been developed to solve various fault detection and diagnosis problems. Since PCA-based methods assume that the monitored process is linear, nonlinear PCA models, such as autoencoder models and kernel principal component analysis (KPCA), has been proposed and applied to nonli...
متن کاملDistributed fault detection for interconnected second-order systems
Observers for distributed fault detection of interconnected second-order linear time invariant systems is studied. Particularly, networked systems under consensus protocols are considered and it is proved that for these systems one can construct a bank of so-called unknown input observers, and use their output to detect and isolate possible faults in the network. The application of this family ...
متن کاملOn Second-Order Fault Analysis Resistance for CRT-RSA Implementations
Since their publication in 1996, Fault Attacks have been widely studied from both theoretical and practical points of view and most of cryptographic systems have been shown vulnerable to this kind of attacks. Until recently, most of the theoretical fault attacks and countermeasures used a fault model which assumes that the attacker is able to disturb the execution of a cryptographic algorithm o...
متن کاملSecond order sensitivity analysis for shape optimization of continuum structures
This study focuses on the optimization of the plane structure. Sequential quadratic programming (SQP) will be utilized, which is one of the most efficient methods for solving nonlinearly constrained optimization problems. A new formulation for the second order sensitivity analysis of the two-dimensional finite element will be developed. All the second order required derivatives will be calculat...
متن کاملRotating Machine Vibration Analysis with Second-order Independent Component Analysis
We present a novel approach to signal separation using temporal correlations, which may be useful in decomposition of multichannel vibration data into fault-related harmonic activity. Performance of the algorithm with respect to parameter settings is investigated with artiicial data, whereas vibration data from a submsersible pump is used to compare the second-order ICA algorithm to other metho...
